What happens when a poorly qualified trainer suddenly uses AI?

- A fool with a tool is still a fool! -

Let’s imagine an amateur filmmaker gets the ultimate high-tech film equipment.
He has no idea about:

  • the possibilities of lighting design,
  • the meaningful construction of scenes,
  • the necessary dramaturgy,
  • the variety of lenses and filters,
  • and so much more …

The more options there are, the more opportunities there are to “get lost”.

A good film production requires a solid foundation of know-how and experience, benefits from the quality of the technology (image, sound, lighting), and thrives on a good team of supporting professionals.

The same applies to trainings that often convey corporate culture, support processes, or accompany changes.

In the field of personnel and organizational development, we often talk about the necessary know-how to design effective learning, development, and change programs and to launch the associated projects. We want to promote innovation, shape the future, and engage people. But what happens if we focus too much on knowledge and skills and overlook experience? Experience is what gives us the necessary intuition and judgment to act confidently even in unexpected situations.

Just as experience enables good trainings and projects, learning experiences must be made possible.

In the conception and implementation, experienced designers can achieve great added value through the use of AI.

What else should be considered? I look forward to stimulating comments.

For those who want to dive deeper or undertake joint projects, I am personally available through the usual channels. I look forward to it!
